I’m Robert Martinez, founder of Training Science, a Fitness and Nutrition Blog. I am a Certified Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Fitness and Nutrition Science and graduated with Honors from the University of Minnesota.
I live in Minnesota with my family. I believe in being true to oneself and doing what you deem best for your body and overall health. I have lived by this mantra virtually all my life.
I’ve always been passionate about fitness and nutrition. My dad is an experienced personal trainer. Maybe that’s where my background of health and fitness comes from.
When growing up, my dad ensured that I made healthier choices without compromising my happiness in life. Looking back, I've learned so much from my dad. I only went to school to refine my knowledge.
Over the last few years, I have combined my passion for health and fitness, and the knowledge I acquired from my dad and school to help others lead a healthy life. I started Training Science in 2019 to help me reach as many people as possible not only in the United States but also across the globe.
I started this blog with three main goals in mind:
- To help people gain muscle
- To help people lose weight
- To help people stay healthy
